The US has blacklisted some Chinese companies to block trade with them. Such companies include the top chip maker Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC) and drone manufacturer HZ DJI Technology Limited.

President Donald Trump is believed to have abandoned China’s trade. The US Department of Commerce on Friday confirmed the decision to blacklist DJI. However, there was no response from DJI in this direction.

The Commerce Department also said that the companies were involved in espionage in collaboration with the Chinese military.

“We will not cooperate with China in manufacturing any products that may harm American industries,” said Wilbur Rose, US Secretary of Commerce.
