London, 30 December 2020, Wednesday

The wooden spoon, fork spoon and bowl used by Gandhiji will be auctioned on 10 January in Bristol, UK. The minimum price for the auction has been set at auction 5,000. Even at this price, if one adds the Indian basic price, commission, duty, GST, etc., the price reaches Rs 1.5 crore. However this is the minimum price.

According to auction experts, if the bid reaches Rs 20,000 instead of Rs 5,000, the selling price will eventually be around Rs 3 crore in Indian rupees. If the atheist price rises, the price of a commonly written bowl-spoon may increase. India could not save many things used by Gandhiji. Has arrived overseas and is auctioned there at a high price. Living a simple life produces very expensive roots in Gandhiji’s things.

This rare set of spoons and bowls was in the collection of Sumati Morarji, a follower of Gandhiji. Sumatidevi was a pioneer woman in the Indian shipping industry and died at the age of 18.

He was associated with Gandhiji in the independence movement. According to East Bristol Auction, some auction companies, these items were used by Gandhiji when he was under house arrest at Aga Khan Palace in Pune and while he was in Mumbai.
