The digital team of newly elected US President Joe Biden included Ayesha Shah, who was born in Kashmir and grew up in the US.

The White House announced on Monday that Ayesha had been elevated to a senior position in the digital department.

Raised in Louisiana, Ayesha worked as a digital partnership manager in Joe Biden-Harris’ team during the presidential election. The two leaders were therefore familiar with the talents of Biden and Harris. Ayesha will work on the White House Digital Strategy Team. The director of this team is Rob Flhetri.

Ayesha is currently working as a digital specialist at the Smithsonian Institution. Prior to this, Ayesha worked as a deputy manager in the Corporate Funds Department at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Prior to that, he worked as a communications specialist for a company called Boy. Thus he has extensive experience in his field. Her appointment will be permanent as Ayesha joins the White House on duty.
