The US Treasury Department released its annual report on the suspension of Terror funding. Accordingly, the US government cut last year. Terrorist organizations blocked F 35 million in terrorist funding.
According to the US Treasury Department annual report, Lashkar-e-Taiba was blocked by 4.5 million. Jaish-e-Mohammed had a Mo 15 funding block. Harkat-ul-Mujahideen-al-Islami withheld 5,000 funds. These terrorist organizations are active in Pakistan and are carrying out terrorist activities in India. The US also closed an F21 terrorist fund for the Hizbul Mujahideen, which is carrying out terrorist activities in Kashmir.
The Taliban contributed 303 million in funding. Funds worth ₹ 500,000 from Al Qaeda and ₹ 5,000 from the Haqqani network were blocked. The US also succeeded in stopping the Sri Lankan terrorist organization LTTE from paying 2.50 lakh.
The United States last year blocked a total of ₹ 25 million terrorist funds from 20 terrorist organizations around the world. This is why the US succeeded in stopping an estimated 200 crore rupees to reach terrorist organizations. The terrorist organizations whose funds have been blocked include Pakistan-based terrorist organizations as well as terrorist organizations operating in countries such as Afghanistan, Sudan, Iran, Syria, North Korea, Sri Lanka.
