A state trapper and Ocoee police officer are recovering after a captured alligator turned the tables knocking the trapper out cold and hitting the police officer with its tail.

Dramatic video captured the incident which take place in Ocoee in Orange County.

This is a reminder of the strength of alligators. State wildlife officers say May and June are the mating season for gators, so it’s not uncommon for humans to have more contact with them this time of the year.
